Аннотация: Предмет монографии - университет в его сущности и в процессах исторических трансформаций (в прошлом и будущем). Выстроены несколько познавательных фокусировок: 1) философско-методологическая - предлагается ряд онтологических конструкций («идея университета», «университет в процессах воспроизводства и развития») и базовая категориалПоказать полностьюьная схема; 2) культурно-историческая - университет понимается как институт общества; анализируются его трансформации в истории; 3) эмпирико-феноменологическая - университет рассматривается как феномен, индивидуальный объект с его уникальной историей успеха; 4) социально-управленческая - обсуждается управление развитием университета; 5) антропопрактическая - университетское образование рассмотрено как практика развития человека. Представлены различные подходы к определению «сущности» университета, среди них базовый - понимание университета как формы институциализации мышления, интеллектуального труда (как «сообщества мыслящих», которое должно сохраняться в ядре университета при всех его метаморфозах). Проанализированы несколько концепций поколений (исторических типов) университетов, разработанных разными исследователями. Предложена авторская конструкция четырех поколений университетов и прожект университета нового поколения -Университета 4.0. Рассмотрены особенности мышления, которое формировалось и воспроизводилось в университетах различных поколений, включая гипотезу о мышлении в университете будущего - Университете 4.0. Проанализированы существующие концепты лидерства университетов; предложена концепция лидерства современного университета - «университет фронтира». Представлен ряд индивидуальных историй успеха университетов - мировых и национальных лидеров; описаны несколько прецедентов университетов фронтира. Рассмотрены различные вопросы управления развитием университета в логике «строительства» Университета 4.0. Монография адресована широкому кругу читателей, включая философов, аналитиков, культурологов, специалистов в области руководства и управления, преподавателей и студентов университетов. This monograph explores the nature of the university and the processes of its historical transformation, both past and prospective. The study is organized around five complementary analytical perspectives. The first is a philosophical-methodological perspective, which introduces a set of ontological constructs, including the “idea of the university” and the “university within processes of reproduction and development”, together with a foundational conceptual framework. The second is a cultural-historical perspective, which examines the university as a social institution and traces its transformations across different historical periods. The third is an empirical-phenomenological perspective, in which the university is analyzed as a unique phenomenon characterized by its own trajectory of development and success. The fourth is a socio-managerial perspective, focused on issues of university governance and institutional development. The fifth is an anthropopractical perspective, which considers university education as a practice of human development. The authors discuss a range of approaches to understanding the essence of the university. Particular emphasis is placed on the conception of the university as a form of institutionalized thinking and intellectual labor - a “community of thinkers” that should remain at the core of the university regardless of historical transformations. The book critically reviews several influential theories of university generations developed by contemporary scholars and proposes an original framework comprising four generations of universities. Building on this framework, the authors present a conceptual model of a next-generation institution, referred to as University 4.0. Special attention is given to the forms of thinking cultivated within universities of different generations, including a hypothesis concerning the character of thought and knowledge production in the university of the future. The monograph also analyzes existing concepts of university leadership and introduces the notion of the frontier university as a model of leadership for contemporary higher education institutions. Drawing on a number of institutional case studies, the authors examine the development trajectories of universities that have achieved national and global leadership positions and discuss several examples of frontier universities. The book further addresses strategic and managerial challenges associated with the development of University 4.0. This monograph will be of interest to scholars of higher education, philosophers, social and cultural theorists, policy analysts, university leaders and administrators, as well as faculty members and students. The afterword is written by Vadim M. Rozin, one of Russia's leading philosophers, methodologists, and scholars of culture.
