FIELD: construction. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for strengthening foundations and correcting the tilt of existing buildings and structures erected on loose or weak soils, and can be used to restore the vertical position of historical, residential and industrial buildings. The method for correcting the tilt of a structure on cohesive soils involves digging trenches along the foundation, creating a trench well under the base of the foundation, and subsequent compaction of the soil. From the side opposite to the direction of the tilt, the well is drilled using auger drilling while simultaneously pushing a hollow reinforced concrete casing into it. A cylindrical ice element is then installed into the pushed pipe along the entire length of the pipe, after which the pipe is removed, leaving the ice element in the compacted soil under the foundation. The tilt is corrected by controlled thawing of the ice element and compression of the surrounding loose soil under the load of the building's weight. EFFECT: increasing the accuracy and safety of the tilt correction process, ensuring smooth and controlled correction of the building's position, and eliminating dynamic impacts on the structure. 1 cl, 3 dwg
