Аннотация: The paper presents the results of the analysis of direct instrumental measurements of the energy characteristics of Siberian wildfires considering the dominant vegetation cover in the forest and forest-tundra zones. The FRP (Fire Radiative Power) measurements from the Terra and Aqua MODIS system were used to calculate the thermal rПоказать полностьюadiation of wildfires. Integral FRP is considered as suitable measure for the evaluation and forecasting of the extent of vegetation cover damage caused by fire. An increase of fire intensity is observed on 21-56% of the territory in different parts of Siberia. According to data from Global Forest Change, the impact of fire is responsible for up to 90% of all forest stands loss. The extent of forest stand loss is directly proportional to the increase in fire intensity.
