Аннотация: The paper presents an approach to developing new devices for gas removal from prebaked-anode electrolysis cells. This approach is based on comprehensive experimental and computational studies of the aerodynamics of lightly dusted gas flows in existing gas removal systems. The results of natural and computational experiments are preПоказать полностьюsented, and the operating parameters of existing gas removal systems are analyzed, revealing the advantages and disadvantages of various collector duct designs. An approach for designing new gas removal systems is proposed. A method for organizing gas removal from electrolysis cells placed both longitudinally and transversely in the potroom has been developed. This method ensures uniform gas extraction from the potroom, reduces dust carryover into the gas removal system, facilitates easy cleaning of the structure from dust deposits, and reduces hydraulic resistance.
