Аннотация: Cognitive dysfunction is very common in patients with coronary heart disease. Coronary artery disease may contribute to the progression of cognitive deficits, which may worsen the prognosis of the underlying disease. Untimely diagnosis of cognitive deficit at the initial manifestations entails the lack of adequate therapy, and hencПоказать полностьюe the progression of coronary heart disease. That is why timely diagnosis of cognitive impairment is so important. Our study examined oxytocin as a biomarker of brain damage. As a result of the study, a relationship was identified between the patient's cognitive status and the level of oxytocin in the blood plasma and saliva.
