Аннотация: In this paper, we propose a solution to the main stages of designing a hydroelectric power station (HPP) using GIS technologies. The calculation of the main hydrological data of the hydroelectric power station, reservoir characteristics, and the target was selected. This makes it possible to optimize water and energy calculations that directly affect the further stages of design, as well as reduce labor costs. A comparative analysis of errors in determining the main characteristics of hydroelectric power stations and reservoirs is performed.
