Аннотация: Carbone dioxide (CO2) is a major greenhouse gas. The CO2 concentration in the atmosphere has in- creased to almost 397.7 ppm in 2015, which is more than 43% above the preindustrial level in 1750 as inferred from ice-cores, and more than 20% since the commencement of direct high-quality atmospheric CO2 measure- ments by C.D. Keeling at the Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii. The global atmospheric carbon dioxide con- centration is growing from year to year at the rates about 2.07 ppm/year. However, the rate of annual increase varies among years and regions depending on carbon sink strengths and anthropogenic emissions. Siberia hosts about 20% of the global forest area and about 45% of the total coniferous forest zone. The Siberian ecosystems accumulate a considerable amount of anthropogenic carbon, despite relatively low net eco- system productivity. The continental boreal zone in Siberia represents one of the most vulnerable to climate change biomes in the world. The consequences of globally increasing CO2 concentrations exacerbated by rising temperatures inducing positive feedback mechanisms are expected to be particularly significant in Siberia, with strong and potentially irreversible impacts on local ecosystems. This means that continuous CO2 measurements over Siberia are particularly crucial for estimating global CO2 balance. However, the availability of CO2 obser- vations in the continental interior of Northern Eurasia is insufficient [http://ds.data.jma.go.jp/gmd/wdcgg]. Only several aircraft and towers CO2 observations by have been made in the Siberian region in the frame of different scientific programs. Thus, there is a strong need for broadening the network of continuous CO2 measurements sites over Siberia. Here we present seven year records (May 2009 - December 2015) of carbon dioxide continuous concen- tration measurement performed by EnviroSense 3000i analyzer (Piccaro Inc., USA, CFADS-17) at Zotino Tall Tower Observatory (ZOTTO) located in the boreal forest of Central Siberia (Heimann et al., 2014). For the peri- od from 2009 to 2015 the seasonal cycle amplitude of carbon dioxide concentration was 26.2±0.6 ppm. At the same period the mean growth rate of carbon dioxide in atmosphere was 2.3 ppm/year. However, there was high inter-annual variability likely due to fluctuations in net ecosystem productivity and carbon dioxide emissions (e.g. from forest fires).
