Аннотация: The research was performed on the south of Turukhansk forestry in Krasnoyarsk Region in Central Sibe- ria. The study plots were established after surface wildfires of various intensity occurred in 2012. The ground investigations of the wildfire's impact on forest stands were conducted in the period 2013 - 2015 yy with a laser- baseПоказать полностьюd field instrumentation system. It has been found out that the minimal damage within tree species belonged to pine trees ( Pinus sylvestris L.). After surface fires of low intensity some young pine trees (diameter at breast height (DBH) = 0,5 cm) were able to survive during the first year after wildfires. In a year after the surface fires of average intensity only trees with DBH of 5 cm could survive. After the severe surface fires only pine trees with DBH > 17,2 cm survived during the first year after fire. But pine trees with DBH >18,1 cm survived 2 and 3 years after fire. Within the coniferous trees - fir ( Abies sibirica Ledeb.) has shown the worst resistance to wildfire and 100% of trees died during the first year after fire. Spruce ( Picea obovata Ledeb) has demonstrated better re- sistance, and only trees with DBH > 5 cm died during the first year after fire. After the surface fires of low intensity siberian cedars ( Pinus sibirica Du Tour) have shown even worse fire resistance. Only trees with a diameter more than 8 cm survived during the first year after fire. However, there are some arguments that siberian cedars with a DBH of 14 cm could survive after the average intensity fires. In rare cases cedars with DBH > 28 cm survived, but according to further observations such large trees died within the second and third years after fire. The research of fire resistance for larch was not conducted, as there were not enough trees on the study sites. For the deciduous species the results on the post-fire downfall could be given not for all the kinds as well. The amount of aspens and woody plants forming the underwood (e.g. alder, willow, rowan) was insignificant for providing the reliable statistical sample and conducting objective analysis or making conclusions. For birches ( Betula pendula Roth) with a diameter of 2,3 cm the resistance after surface fires of low in- tensity was noted. If the diameter was 3 cm then birch was able to survive during the average intensity wildfire. But only trees with a diameter > 14 cm could survive during the first year after severe surface fires.
