Аннотация: An investigation is made into the basic parameters of a coplanar line used to excite helicon-type waves. The components of the electric and magnetic field vectors, the Poynting vector, and .the characteristic impedance are determined. The possibility of using a coplanar line to excite helicon-type waves is studied.
