Аннотация: Nowadays the system of vocational training faces the tasks of training not only social and professional competent, mobile, competitive graduates capable of creative solution of non-standard tasks but also intelligent, initiative people with necessary psychophysical readiness for life in a dynamically changing world. The purpose of Показать полностьюthe present research was to study pedagogical potential of university sports environment. The study shown that due to a quite wide range of individual features of students and diversity of educational-training tasks the open, complicated, coherent, complicated, heterogeneous, flexible integrative-dynamic sports environment of educational institution has the greatest pedagogical potential, consisting of many microenvironments of different modality (discipline of "Physical Culture", elective courses, sport sections, sports-mass measures etc.), solving specific tasks in context of integral personal development and performing the functions of "zones of closest development" for every student in view of his requirements and capacities.
